Enrolment
Enrolling in the MAMAF Master’s programme means joining a hands-on, career-oriented educational path, developed in collaboration with professionals currently working in leading organisations within the pharmaceutical sector.
Enrolment provides access to a highly practical learning experience, with the possibility — for the most deserving candidates — to benefit from full or partial scholarships covering the tuition fee.
Admission procedure
At the end of the enrolment period, closing on 11 January 2027, all candidates will be assessed through a merit-based ranking.
The selection process is based on several criteria designed to value both academic and professional backgrounds:
- Degree grade
- Scientific publications
- Work experience in the sector
- Motivational interview, held remotely with the Master’s faculty (provisionally scheduled between 18 and 29 January 2027)
The final ranking will also determine the possible award of full or partial scholarships covering the participation fee.
The detailed scoring for each criterion is provided in the official Call for Applications, available on the University of Pavia’s website:
The Master’s programme admits a maximum of 20 participants and a minimum of 7, in order to ensure a high-quality learning experience and a personalised, career-oriented approach to professional development.
What to expect:
The MAMAF Master’s programme will begin on 26 February 2027 and includes an initial phase of in-person classes in a blended format. Lessons will take place every Friday afternoon and Saturday (full day) — except on public holidays — balancing the needs of both lecturers and students. Classes are organized as two in-person weekends per month, and two synchronous online weekends per month, continuing until July 2027.
The academic board reserves the right to organise a one-week, full-time workshop at the end of the teaching period, focusing on three or four specific areas of the training programme.
From this period, students may begin their curricular internship of 625 hours, to be completed at partner companies, institutions, or organizations affiliated with or external to the Master’s programme..
The internship may be extended and continue until the completion of the full training pathway, scheduled for April 2028.
The final examination will consist of writing a thesis on a topic agreed upon by the candidate, the academic board, and the company supervisor, based on the internship experience and related to one of the subjects covered during the Master.
